I went to this show last week. The roots are one of the best hiphop acts out, they give off so much energy it’s crazy. The crowd in miami was on some other stuff, they did’nt show any love. They would only get hype if black thought yelled ” are you out there” ” i know ya’ll not sleeping”. Shit did not make any sense. The crowd was going nuts for gym class heroes and when Lil’wayne came out; it was like an explosion went off in there. I enjoyed the roots show, that crowd at the jackie gleason theater not so much. Common and nerd rocked on friday, I hope the crowd showed them some love. Peace.
