I’m supporting Obama hope to god he wins but do I actually believe he will be able to do what he says, hell fucking no. He is still a politician people forget that and a damn good and polished one too, you don’t get to be put up for your parties nomination without making a few promises on the hill and selling out a few of your ” goals or ideals ” but regardless Obama is a good look for 3 main reasons
1) It will help race relationships down the line drastically, many white people are born and raised never seeing black people and are taught they are nothing but gang banging crack smoking thugs, it’s gonna be kind of hard to convince kids that when theres a black president.
2) The rest of the world hates us right now, and yeah they think we are spoiled and arrogant ( we are ) but more than that they hate Bush/Cheney and recognize they are evil, Obama will put us in a better light in the view of the majority of the world
3) McCain has voted with Bush 90 % of the time, and helped create and push for the deregulation that has allowed the economy to sink like this, as much as a nose dive as we have taken in the last 8 years we can’t afford to freefall for another 4, and like 911 said the other day Palin’s distorted views that she can act with the type of authority Cheney has is downright terrifying
