You may remember Drake from his song featuring Lil Wayne that dropped last month, with what’s probably the GOAT Single artwork. The song was tough and if you watched the VMAs and heard Wayne spit another verse on “Misunderstood”, that was Drake’s verse from Money To Blow, and he even shouted Drizzy out at the end. Wayne also told DJ Semtex that Drake is crazy musically, but contrary to popular belief and Wayne’s statement to Sem, Drake said he isn’t signed to Young Money. His debut album Thank Me Later is dropping in 2009 on Interscope.
Ransom wasn’t Drake’s first collaboration with Weezy, he also jumped on the remix to Drake’s “Brand New”. And if you recognize his mug, like I first did when I saw his mixtape, yes… that’s the guy from Degrassi.
