Video: Common Interview w/ Chicago’s DYN
Common’s performing in NY tonight, but I caught his performance earlier this week on one of the stops of the Seeing The Invincible Sounds of Summer Tour, and I definitely have to see him in concert when he’s not promoting an album that he made without Kanye. I can’t complain because he played classic shit like the intro to Be, “The Food” & “The People”, but it was my first time seeing him and I needed more Be & Finding Forever tracks.
Whoever’s going tonight is gonna enjoy it though. He might even switch up the playlist for a Hip Hop melting pot like NY (lol @ Pharrell asking “what’s the hottest Province?!?!”). If anyone gets video of any of the songs I mentioned above, send em in.
Spotted @ FSD.

Are you serious? This was the wackest show I went to. He did only one verse of H.E.R. and nothing from LWFC and One Day.
60% of the songs are about girls.
This guy is wack now. Too bad.

No. The Intro to ‘Be’ and The Food, and the People, is not ‘classic shit’. They are dope recent joints. But not classic shit. Classic shit is ‘Ressurection’ which he probably forgot he ever made. Or Sixth Sense. Or Invocation. Or his Respiration verse.
