    As Prince and I listened to Memphis Bleek’s “Memph Bleek Is” last night, we got to thinking…

    We should have like a weedcarriers award ceremony.

    Categories to include:

    -The Memphis Bleek Award (Given to the Best Weed Carrier of the Year)
    -The Grand Hustle Award (Given to the Worst Weed Carrier of the Year)
    -The Jim Jones Award (Given to the weed carrier most likely to have a decent career of their own)
    -The Spliff Star Awar (Given to the weed carrier who is most likely to have a shitty career of their own)
    -The Flava Flav Award (Awarded as a lifetime achievement award to weed carriers that have been there for a long time)

    Who would you nominate???

    Even though he kinda dropped the ball on making Finding Forever Dilla-esque the fact that he’s attempting to incorporate that with Swizz type souns is intriguing. The album could be a clusterfuck, but it could also be a completely new sound. The reason I wasnt anticipating BP3 before was because “Jocking Jay-Z” kind of sucks.

    director Zack Snyder, who revealed that 300 would receive the sequel treatment. Snyder did the impossible, and actually spoke to Frank Miller about it, and learned he’s writing a graphic novel that takes place between Thermopylae and the Battle of Plataea which is seen at the end of the film. There’s a mere year in between waiting to be populated with new Spartan heroes (though David Wenham’s lone survivor, Dilios, could return) by way of Miller’s pen. Snyder promises to direct the adaptation when Miller finishes the book.

    Memph Bleek award goes to Ross’ goons, who, despite the fact that their leader is a member of law enforcement, still stomped the shit out of DJ Vlad out of loyalty. That’s a weed carrier.

    Grand Hustle Award goes to Wayne’s DJ, who wasnt holding the weed (or the gun) when he was supposed to, and also had a towel thrown at him on stage after being verbally berated for sucking at his job.
