Memphis went in to, from what I remember, but beans just killed it that much, no one could’ve really went after that, NO ONE, Beans was killing everything in 99-2000, I remember the first time I heard beans, I thought I was listening to the greatest rapper ever, real talk, Jay even said one day beans would be better, but the cases, drugs, lack of writing kinda side tracked his path to greatness.
