The US economy still has a major impact on the world don’t get it twisted. If you lot are doin shit, that has an impact on everyone else. See the Great Depression as an example.

^^Exactly the same as in Vietnam. The US troops ain’t built as you say for ‘protracted war’ in a hostile country who’s inhabitants despise them. All those wars are similar. No clearly defined enemy, the VC mixed with the villagers, the Iraqi and Taliban insurgents mixed with the local inhabitants. It all conspired to fuck the Yankees up. They lose ‘hearts and minds’ by killing random civilians, confusing them for the enemy. I’m not disagreeing with you at all quite the opposite. smh, Negative.. Bottom line is China has the largest ground force and there isn’t a way in the world the US would be able to occupy China. No single army has enough troops to occupy the country so scratch an occupation out of the equation. If the US were to fight China it would be done by other means. But neither the American or Chinese shores would have troops fighting on them.
The US pretty much has the most technologically advance military in the world (planes/weapons/long range shit, etc). Look at all the money the government pumps into the bullshit.
The only reason Iraq, Korea, Vietnam went the way they did is because you can’t win guerrilla warfare with technology and weapons when you occupy a country. It pretty much comes down to ground troops against plain clothed fighters scattered everywhere. Unless you plan to bomb a whole country/city and kill all those civilians in the process then you have to get down and fight using their tactics which makes technology and planes irrelevant. But in the other hand if the US wanted to level a country and avoid that they could just drop a nuclear bomb/various airstrikes (see japan).
Like for real though some niggas on here think every single thing is propaganda/conspiracies in this country. I don’t even support all this war/military bullshit but lets be serious.
