How else does Mase still come up in conversations then?
Think fast, name 3 non single cuts on Street Dreams. If you Google you cheat yourself.

At some point, we’ve got to stop comparing ’98 music to ’08 music. It’s very rare that music stands the test of time. If it does, it’s either been considered a classic – or is very personal to the listener. Either way, they ain’t backing off of it.
Besides, how often do you REALLY listen to Illmatic? Classic material is not always what’s up.

This is true but when you’re dealing with a defunct rapper like Mase, what more do you have?

That is blasphemy! Mase> Fab. Mase had hip hop in a chokehold in the late 90′s. Fab is just good for guest appearences. If Mase didn’t quit, Fab would not be here because all Fab does is bite Mase’s swag!!!
