^Everything scientists do has relevance/importance. They would prefer you just don’t know the reasons why. And in science, everything is tested over and over until only ONE answer can be given (i.e. the temperature that freezes water, the amount of carbon in difference races of people, etc). Anything “flawed” is usually done deliberately, but people who do their homework know the truth, no matter how many times said model is fed to the masses. Unfortunately, not everyone thinks like that so instead people walk around with their own “theoretical” truth, which are usually the answers that aren’t relevant to anything important.
