Skyzoo is a Brooklyn rapper, affiliated with the North Carolina based Justus League. He made his Justus League debut with producer 9th Wonder (of Little Brother fame) with the twelve track EP Cloud 9: The Three Day High, named as such due to it being written and recorded within a span of three days.
September 22nd, 2008 at 6:45 pm
furthermore, I don’t care if Skyzoo ever blows up or not, what the fuck does that have to do with me? it certainly doesn’t have anything to do with whether or not he can spit. if he does, great, but what he eats don’t make me shit. 90% of the niggas I post on here will never blow because nobody respects lyrics anymore.

People always respect lyrics, its just the lyrics that the climate that the lyrics were formatted in people don’t seem to care about…..Lil wayne and T.I are lyrical….Jeezy is lyrical in his own right….maybe not to the nahright and 90’s era music listeners but to most people they are saying some real shit…..
The climate has changed….abstract lyricism is dead but lyricism still exists just in a different format…

Abstract lyricism never had to make sense back in its day…..It has perceived notions of someone saying something with substance but it lacked an emotional connection with the audience….Tupac Purposely didn’t rhyme like that….His rhyme catered to where the common man can feel it….The east coast rhymed about the moon and the stars and it was hot for its time people rhyming about out of this world shit…..
Substance lyrics is what you make of it…..5 multisyllable words are hot if you can connect with the audience but Everybody and they mama that that was the only way to rhyme, and now that style is dead and gone….
I’m just pointing out the climate while you’re getting mad.
