Entertainers need to come off they high horse and give the folk what they want.

I don’t want an artist to Lil Wang me to death, but artists like Sha Stimuli get it.

As for snippets and waiting a year for new material (songs, not album) I will ignore your work and move on because life is too short and other REAL things are happening in the world instead of waiting on something like a song to NEVER come out.

Even Hov understood he needed to drop yearly or it would be a wrap.

Artists like Nelly and LL should have dropped either during the early to mid summer or in the 4th quarter since they are “pop artists”. Did somebody think dropping there album during mid September would be great marketing.

All people care about right now is recovering from paying for school & school supplies and NFL or Friday night lights.

I hate that artists that don’t have to drop during the 4th quarter are.

If you Jay-Z or Kanye etc., you could drop second week in January and do decent.

Too many mofos are dropping late October, November, December. I will be OVERWHELMED with music and the #’s will be underwhelming because folks won’t know what to decide to buy. That was the case last year and the year before that. I wanted badly to buy Ghostface Big Doe Rehab, but didn’t have the c.r.e.a.m since four other artists came out the same day. After he did his youtube thing I bought it a month or two later. It’s still factory sealed. My desire to hear it wore off.

These last 2 months have been boring for Hip Hop with the exception of Jeezy, Cube & Game.

Cube had a movie to promote him, Game’s music has that late summer feel as well as Jeezy.

I don’t follow #’s too much anymore so I don’t know how they did, but I felt it was a smart move for them all. They probably would have done the same units moved anytime of the year though.

Music can take you out of a mood & put you in a another mood. The natural (nature) environment of the seasons can enhance that mood. I enjoy Styles P., but not during Christmas while working in retail. I won’t have time to listen to him and if I did I will probably want to smoke a customer.

Bottom line this ain’t Andrew’s fault for this record coming out late, it’s the artist’s arrogance.

It ain’t that serious. Again, GIVE THE PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT AND IN RETURN YOU WILL SEE THE FRUITS OF YOUR LABOR.
