Why does it matter what sort of fame dude has? As long as he can rap, I don’t really care if suburban kids know about the rapper I’m listening to. Plus, Wayne went from internet mixtape phenom to huge (nh). And I know he had Fireman and what not, which just makes him more comparable to Budden, who had a huge hit with Pump It Up, I mean that song was big enough he was able to get Jay-Z for the remix.

i dont get the hoopla about budden, but im one to talk since im like the only one that hangs of Lu’s nuts (tho i havent listened to him in months). chea perfectly had the budden pattern down on lock, just a whole bunch of pop culture references that happened like three hours prior the song being made. altho i do think that on his actual album, he will stop the stojakovic bullshit and actually say some serious shit, too bad the album aint dropping.
