Maybe its just me but I see it like this. Lox did have a classic album I wouldnt say classic “albums” and besides that album I dont see Lox these days as more than Jada outshining the rest of them. I can understand people saying Andre 3000 outshining Big Boi but I just think people don’t listen to Big Boi like that. As a group or duo disregarding what you consider Outkast I still think Outkast is greater than the Lox. I consider WU a harder comparison but WU has alot of niggas in it and you can argue that some of those niggas pull the whole down. If I could streamline WU, WU would be completely different because 4 niggas would instantly get axed.

You can compare the Lox with Kast because even though Lox only have 2 albums, they have been awhile for a looong (no homo) time. Solos…mixtapes..etc Even though I am a Lox stan, I do admit that Kast has the better albums. Skills wise I really have to go with the Lox. Styles…Jada. Big Boi and Andre pretty ill with the flow. look every classic or great album had a good success.
cuz it’s the fame of the artist based on this release.

even him, first album is his classic and his bigger success

Sorry having sons in the game doesn’t necessarily mean anything. Outkast with the dungeon family is more a movement and sound with people like backbone though he didnt blow, goodie mob, and the of the respective cast. And we arent talking record sales because even maybe the clipse have outsold the Lox though I make no claims here.

after when the artist career is created, he can make bad music (or at least not his best music) and make a bigger success with dat. but that is an other thing and other problem.

in general, when u make ya best effort u have ya best success
but (not when u come for the first time as jay or nas or other cuz people don’t know at the start and then become crazy and in love and so sells are in elevation with more commercial stuff and ish like dat)
but u talk about a collectif of rapper… never a collectif of rapper had a real success … even Dipset it’s not important. only fame was enormous
