   On Love Lockdown V3… Mix is less fuzzy.. Piano and Drums sound a bit clearer, more pronounced. Not sure if he did much to the vocals, but they’re coming in better, too.

   Fuck it, I still like this song. revised after song is complete–I like this version the best. Couple nice touches on here. Sounds more like a real effort than a sad Kanye in his basement.

   Also: Obama’s gonna win in a squeaker, word up.

    Just plain terrible album covers: Tony Yayo–Thoughts of a Predicate Felon, LOL.. 50 Cent, The Massacre.. Man, those were terrible. 50 + Drawn-on ubermuscles = flaming loads of monkey crap.

    @ Rex– Those are some good ‘uns. I liked ODB’s “Return to the 36 Chambers” cover. I didn’t like the OB4CL cover.

    I like the Ready To Die cover best, I think. I know he copied Nas’ idea (even tho’ their albums dropped months apart back in 1994, so it wasn’t as bad as hip-hop historians claim), but the baby juxtaposed with “ready to die” was just a striking image, like somebody hitting a picture. BOOYAH!

    Oh, or “Doggystyle”. That cover/booklet was legendary.

    dead prez “lets get free” , and the first little kim album (i never copped it, but did get a poster of it and that notorious squat!!) wow. classic.
