Then again, I have to seriously wonder how being an unsigned blog rapper is better than being the “weed carrier” of the biggest rapper of his generation…for one, we all know the careers of all these blog rappers is going nowhere (well not fair to say for all of them, but definitely for Curren$y…dude has that Nyquil flow and the charisma of a pumpkin on the mic…the ony reason he made it to the “blog buzz” ranks is because of the residual buzz left from the 2 years he was Wayne’s ex “weed carrier”)…I hate to say it, but in the event that Spitta were to actually get signed, the album would sit on the shelf forever and then sell like 8,000 copies the week it’s finally released…Mack Maine is more famous and gets paid more off that single verse and tour money with Wayne than Spitta is seeing being just another one of these dudes with “blog buzz” that will be nowhere a year from now

Rigz, you have to know most of these blog rap cats are destined to forever be at best C-List rappers…I mean, realistically…what is the career forecast for a cat like Curren$y? The industry is in shambles right now, and dude flat out does not have not even a fraction of the “it” factor to be a successful solo act…what really are his realistic options?

1. Follow the footsteps of failed major label rapper turned Messegeboard Messiah, Bum Buddens…and sign some rinky dink ass label like Amaglam and max out at 5K copies sold digitally?

2. Sign to a major where he’s like the #10 priority…once they finally decide to run with his project he maybe is able to score Trey Songz for a feature on the lead single…sell maybe 9K copies, but owe the label a ton of cake from the promotion?

3. Continue to pump out these mixtapes that are damn near forgotten about the minute they drop to the second page of various blogs that decide to post them, and have absolutely ZERO actual impact on the game?

I don’t know…I have a hard time seeing any brighter of a future for this current crop of blog hype artists than the last generation of mixtape hypes (lol, remember when Pap & Saigon were “the hot new artists to watch”)…The exception of Wale, Cool Kids and maybe Ashor Roth (just cause he’s white)…I don’t see it really happening…artificial buzz doesn’t work
