^I appreciate the words of wisdom but I’m way ahead of you my dude. This piece of paper is going on a wall in my people’s crib as a conversation piece. I’m actually doing this for them (my whole immediate family which is rather small) rather than myself. They’ve all worked hard and made a collective effort to keep me on the right path in such a fucked environment in B’more so I at least owe them that much. None of the elders in my family (parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents) made it as far as I have, so I’m pretty much starting a legacy. However, I won’t force any of my future seeds to go to college. I’ll set forth the options they have based on their skills and goals and let them decide from there. If they wanna go, then cool. If not, just make sure they have the available resources to make a sacrifice that doesn’t involve anything illegal. Either way I’ll provide assistance where need be, but will have hopefully equipped them with enough for survival in case me (or their mother, whomever the lucky lady may be) isn’t around.

even if its just a Trade school, learn a craft so at least you are QUALIFIED and (more often than not) will have some credentials in the eyes of those of who make decisions
