T-Pain was creative to take the risk and try it out in hiphop/R&B, but everybody else is bandwagon.

But the way it adds to a song is that it allows rappers to sing hooks by correcting messed up notes, so its another thing rappers can do with their voices as an instrument other than straight rhyme, sing-song rhyme, or sing hooks with f#ed up notes. But if someone just doesnt like how it sounds then I cant knock that.

Don’t see nothing wrong with autotune, if the song was weak *50 cent “ryder”* it was gonna be weak with or w/o autotune. I think some people complain just to complain

I still don’t see how it adds that much to a song. some songs it does fit perfectly, but most of the songs out now sound like trash.

no. to me its just shows a lack of creativity and effort in the artist. but i guess its smart on the artist part cuz they know all they need to get a place jumping is to put a vocoder over their voice.
