   Extremely LF, or maybe not, based on the convos we have here, but for the life of me, I can’t wrap my brain around the concept of ANYONE supporting John McCain, outside of the usual racist, ignorant reasons, which aren’t grounded in any sort of logic, anyway…yet, he’s up like 4, 5 points? What the fuck is wrong with this country/culture…I mean, fuckin’ seriously…..

   sadly icon, it seems there are far more ignorant folks in this country than wed otherwise like to think. look at it like this (and no shots at folks in the middle of the country) but mostr of your interactions are with ppl on the coasts, which are more diverse and open minded, and frankly more impacted by other idea and diverse people, whereas folks in the middle pretty much never leave their state. and theres a lot more middle than coast. their lack of exposure makes them prime for fear mongering, a tactic that the republicans are excellent at. theyre terrified of al Qeada and terrorist attacks, despite the fact that if another were to happen, it would happen on a coastal city, simply because its easier to access.
