I went off about this yesterday but I thought she came off elitist, condescending and demoralizing. She hypes up the Republican base like she’s supposed to do. People want her to be President, which fucks up their strategy.
Politically Incorrect answer: She was a bitch

whoa, what about Obama speech in Berlin?
Im not riding for none of them cause they are all apart of the same web in my views, but she made some key points about Obama that people over look just because they are stans and really believe in dude regardless of his track record.

why do rappers still sign to major labels and release random songs on the internet for years with no album coming out ever when it’s obvious that they could make more money on a indy and touring their asses off. and also, why do so few rappers sell shirts and shit? rock bands make a big chunk of their moula with merch.
either rappers is dumb or im not seeing the big picture here.

How was Berlin elitist? That has me lost.
What key points? If there were any, they were lost in her sarcastic and smart-ass tone. Unlike most, I actually listen to what she had to say and everything that she did say was illogical or false.

BH, do you drink water before you pass out (pause)? Drinking copius amounts of H2o during and after drinking pretty much cancels out the hangover. Which makes sense, considering a hangover is just dehydration.

copped Jeezy and MMFood on Wednesday, so those are the two main albums that are getting burn right now. MMFood’s not as good as I remember it, probably because I’m playing it in my car stereo, and that shit was built for headphones. Still dope, just saying.
I dont know what the Jeezy is. Its either an epic mission statement from an artist finally finding his worldview, or 18 songs that essentially sound the exact same. Not sure yet.

i mean look at papoose, jae millz, saigon, joell etc.

I was told growing up you can never speak politics and religion with people cause everybody always has their own opinion…
all im saying is this dude is bigger than mlk, t marshall malcom xjust to name a few) when they were at their highest, this election has been watched by the whole world, this guy is a rock star
Do you honestly feel this guy is our guy? Did you really do your homework and say this is my guy????
no shots i have these types of talks all the time, cause its easy to feel strongly about anything now adays

^ I do actually, but it seems to never work at times depending how much I drink. Was drinking Henney and was poppin’ bottles last night. Liquor and champagne do not mix. I took some Advil and drink a bottle of Gatorade before I passed out this morning. Oh I smoked a few Ls last night as well. (yo that rhymed btw)

True, but not really by choice tho, most rappers that discovered how lucrative independence was only found out by default because they got dropped off majors.
You have to keep in mind to, as much as cats want to be “artistes”, and make a shitload of money, fame and notoriety also play just as vital a role in cats wanting to rap for a living. Niggas want people to recognize them on the street, and that’s what majors will always have over indies.

Yeah, but Rock fans & Rap fans are completely different.
Rock fans buy CDs and treat them like collectables, even if they bootlegged them before
Rap fans…You already know
Rock fans dont care how old Mick Jagger is
Rap fans say LL is too old to rap (he’s only a year older than Jay btw)
Rock fans dont care if you NEVER drop an album. They’ll travel to see your live show & buy all your merchandise REGARDLESS
Rap fans call you wack if you been around a few years with no album & will never go to see you live
Rock fans listen to new shit, with little to no need for a cosign from another rock artist.
Rap fans wont give you a chance if Jay dont say your nice
I could go on with this list for hours…But I do see your point…

Stat and Bobby Creek both should have either signed with DTP or Purple Ribbon.
But that’s the double edge sword of their careers; both labels would have provided them with more exposure but would they be as financially well off as they are – about to be – now?
Those Detox publishing checks are going to be like Beatles album(s) publishing checks.
