    as far as whatever ya’ll were talking about in the last thread, NY still runs everything in rap. The only exception is that Wayne is the highest selling artist on the planet, but other than that, nothing goes down unless NY is involved.

    yeah the show was aight last night, asher roth actually did his thing wit the live band and then mickey factz and charles hamilton joined him for the millie freestyle session at the end of his set… pretty dope.. i seen enuff there early but he broke out i guess..

    is it though? every Platinum selling artist in rap is signed to a label based in NY. every new artist has to come to NY and prove themselves (see this thread). Jay, Curtis & Diddy are still the 3 highest earning negros in Hip-Hop. if NY doesn’t run shit, then who?
