I’m not taking nothing away from serch or anything, but dude was a hater back in his day, & boy do I hate a hater. He hated on hammer for bringing rap to a whole nother audience, he hated on vanilla ice for doing him, he’s just a hater. If rap was to stay the way he wanted it to be, there prolly wouldn’t be no rap, or rap wouldn’t generate as much mula as it does now, and he prolly wouldn’t have a job as a big brother for up & coming white rappers.

**Serch looks at himself as kind of a guardian of the culture, maybe he takes himself too seriously, but I appreciate that kind of passion (n/h)- if it wasn’t for the niggas/cracka ass crackas,etc like him who truly felt the culture on that level, and carried it in their hearts (again, none), hip hop woulda died with “Rapper’s Delight”…KRS fits in that category, too….

/\ Probably the only intro my 53 year old mom could hear the beat and know what was about to be said.

Interesting too…the only rappers she could name by face would be Snoop, Eminem, 50 Cent, & 2Pac. And their all linked to Dr. Dre…impressive marketing.
