I refuse to stop calling them Camp Lo, and you can’t make me.

Their current and most promising endeavor is a new deal with SRC/ Universal records. In addition to a new deal they have also have a new name, The Lo, a recommendation from NYC’s Hot 97 DJ Mr. Cee to help reintroduce themselves into the mainstream.
That makes no sense to me AT ALL. I think these guys are mad talented, but does anybody really believe that they’re all of a sudden going to achieve huge mainstream success and sell millions of records because of a name change? “Camp Lo” sounds cool as fuck. Now their name is essentially: The Lo, formerly Camp Lo. SMH @ taking branding advice from Mr. Cee. What’s next, a mixtape hosted by Steve Stoute?

Always liked this version way better than the album version. I miss the days of vinyl and cassette singles having remixes. They also had a really nice remix to Black Nostaljack on the cassette single but was never able to find it in mp3 format. If anyone has it please post it!
Since I’ve been labeled a hater I wont hesitate to say Camp Lo should just stay Camp Lo cause the chances of them ever getting the shine they deserve are slim to none. No need to change their name. They didn’t get the respect and attention they deserved in 96 when no one was doin it like them so unfortunately no way their gettin it now.
