don’t know about resumes being shorter, never heard that one. if your resume is short you’re either entry level or moderately under qualified

^shorter as in not as detailed as a cv. from what i’ve seen as far as cv’s go they really go into detail about your honors, awards and any research/presentations that you have done that may relate to the position at hand. Most resumes don’t include all of that…just a basic description of your job duties and where you went to school. Most employers look for a resume to be 1 or 2 pages whereas a cv can be much longer and is commonly accepted as such…but yeah, they are basically the same thing.

^from what I know, it’s the length (NO). A resume is shorter and just provides a quick overview of your work history but a cv is longer and goes more in depth (Again NO)
