that is an interesting article bay… kinda shows the pressures & responsibilities that are helped upon the kin of leaders, folks who frankly never asked for it and didnt have the capacity to endure it. even MLK’s kids havent dont a whole lot.. they didnt kill anyone, but they didnt necessarily further the legacy of their pops in so much as keep his memory alive.

I heard a few of the tracks off luda “gangsta grillz” cd & they was okay. And after he finally realized sending subliminals at the King wasn’t a good idea & teamed up with him, i’m starting to open up to his music a lil more (n/h).
But I finally realized why metaphors aint what they use to be (well to me), and I don’t like metaphor type rappers. it’s simple, after you hear the metaphor once, the impact decreases by 100%, how many times can you hear the same metaphor & it has the same impact as it did when you first heard it? Now mood like music (no budden) motivational music (no jeezy) etc will last way longer than a luda punchline, that’s why i’m not feeling alot of these new artist (n/h) and old ones. Remember hearing banks the first time & thinking “good god dayum, this niggas ill” you go back & listen to those songs now & think skip this shit. Not saying they arent good at putting words together, but it’s just not my cup of tea
