I think it’s safe to say that these guys have completely squandered all of their Oscar love.

AYOOOO
i like the first three 6 single..that beat, the way it changes towards the end of the verses, is sick…and of course u gotta love how triple 6 are unabashedly GUTTER….”Now LAWDY, LAWDY, LAWDY (*adlib with screwed up voice* LAWDY)”..DJ Paul has got to have one of the most distinct voices in the game..u don’t even listen to what he has to say, that voice gets your attention

These guys are single-handedly (no pun intended) responsible for what is wrong with southern music these days.
I remember how shocked I was when NY cats knew the words to “Chickenhead” by Project Pat. I felt like that shit was like a bad family secret that was never supposed to get out; we were just supposed to talk about it over dinner and keep it from being public.
Once that shit got crunk, everybody started doing that type of shit. Even Lil’ Jon adopted the 3-6 steelo. If you’re familiar, Lil’ Jon started with that “Shawty Freak a Lil’ Sum’n” bs. He was way less crunk. Now, he goes nuts.
You gotta also remember that 3-6 were the first ninjas to yell, “Tear Da Club Up.” I always knew – even back then – that these dudes were bad news. That shit was like call and response. The song came on, chairs started flying.
I’m just saying, no need to expect anything different from these guys, ever. It’s always going to be the same, because that’s what got them to this point.
