Video: Lil Wayne Speaks on Jay Electronica
DJ Semtex first met up with Jay Electronica last week in Boston for Rock The Bells, then met up with Weezy in Amsterdam recently, and they both had some flattering words for each other’s spit game. If you follow Jay Electronica, you already know he’s from New Orleans and completely supports Lil Wayne, but it’s great to see Jay get some recognition from one of the biggest rappers in the world.

Jay Electronica is going to take hip hop in a completely new direction. Act I & II are some of the best things I’ve heard in a minute, better than what’s on the radio nowadays. Good to see someone being original instead of another carbon copy rapper.

uh, wayne is the biggest rapper in the world sales-wise, champ…and i think right here on nahright there was video of weezy killing it over in europe…one london show and another more recent entry from another european spot (amsterdam?).
