On August 10, 2008, Isaac’s wife found him on the floor near a treadmill inside his Memphis, TN home. He was was taken to Baptist East Hospital in Memphis,TN where he was pronounced dead at 2:08 p.m. He was 65 years old. Initial reports indicate he had a “simultaneous” heart attack and stroke.[
^Both enterainters died from poor health conditions.
Diet is sooo important man. And it seems we’re still neglecting it as Nubian people, especially the men.

Tragic, tragic week with Issac and Bernie Mac dying. Issac is the straight up ladies man and will always be remembered for his music. Bernie was a great comedian and it sucks that 2 of the greats in comedy have died (Carlin and Mac). Both Issac and Bernie will be deeply missed.

^It’s a wake-up call chief. And in these days and times, information is way too accessible for us to have any excuses to not be healthy and in shape, myself included. Trader Joes, Whole Foods, farmers markets, Amish markets, cheaper gym fees, workout dvds, martial arts, dancing… there’s a bunch of knowledge out there that can get us back to the holistic lifestyle that we as Nubians ORIGINALLY practiced.
It makes me realize now how that Nas “Fried Chicken” song was so necessary.

Yeah he did, he actually had some lung disease called sarcoidosis. The pneumonia was a complication from it. Nothing he could really do to prevent a disease like that.

I got to be an extra in the Soul Men film. I was there when Bernie and Isaac did their scene.
The scene, ironically was a funeral for a friend of theirs.
I believe in a curse like that, but it is surreal to see both of them pass back to back after seeing Bernie Mac in a coffin.
