^ LOL…but maybe that was planned for him to hop up on stage, do his verse and then go back into the crowd and enjoy the rest of the show. How was the crowd’s reaction when he was performing?

***the crowd was diggin his verse, but as you know, it was mad short (none)- the secret to rocking a DC crowd is to break out the congos, and the Roots did that, so it was all good…Actually, I’m a Wale fan, and I would have liked for him to have showcased a couple of his songs- at least that “do you think I’m crazy” jawn…the Roots had some corny guitar nigga that I guess I was supposed to have recognized, but didn’t- they gave duke like 10 minutes of solo time (never)- they coulda extended the same courtesy to Wale in his hometown, but w/e, w/e…
