A federal judge in Brooklyn has sentenced former NBA referee Tim Donaghy to 15 months in prison for taking payoffs from a professional gambler for inside tips on games.
Donaghy could have received up to 33 months at his sentencing Tuesday, but got off with less than half of that. This closes the book on the betting scandal, at least for now. There was possibly another referee involved in the scandal, but for now, the league is hoping the issue is laid to rest. And we couldn’t be happier if this is the last Donaghy post we make in the next year – or ever

^^With all of this leasing going on these days, it shouldn’t matter what you buy. Most folks are turning them back in for a new model before the mileage hits 50,000. You haven’t even seen what the engine can do that early…
The days of having a vehicle with 100,000 miles on dash is fading fast…
