    I’m from nyc just bought a co-op a couple months ago. I don’t have a car so I take to train daily. It seems like black people thing

    True, Only in NYC or another major big city can you be comfortable riding the bus and not feel ashamed….or if you’re just taking a shuttle somewhere cause of traffic reasons….

    Other than that, I had friends or knew people who rode the bus and If I saw them from afar I’m turning the corner and going down another street. Niggas always wanna ride. I remember one time when I came from my cousin’s apartment complex and some random nigga was like “hey maine, which way you headed to” I’m thinking to myself man this nigga wanna ride….. So I told Him I was going in a far off direction where they aint nothing but whitefolks and trailer parks….he was like “ah never mind”….

    But then if you make eye contact with that dude at the bus stop….it’s like you gotta ask them where you headed and offer them a ride cause you don’t want to seem rude or mean….
