Game is good at channeling other’s rapper energy and his passion when he spits makes him unique….BUT….This is a well thought out formula that he has put together….For all his first singles or any single for his album….He’ll put out that hot STREET BANGER….to keep his gully then he’ll put out that laid back joint….
He really has a good ear for music and you can tell his rhymes are usually well thought out and so is his flow….I don’t care if he is fake or whatever, the music is good.

Game’s name dropping is excessive, but I’ve begun to think that it actually isnt a gimmick. Much like Too Short relates a great deal of his rhymes to pimping, Game’s reference point is moments in hiphop history or other rappers. It almost makes him like a hiphop historian. Love might be blind, but even smitten newlywed Mariah Carey can see that her husband Nick Cannon could use a little help getting a job.
“Mariah wants him to at least have the status that DJ AM had when he was dating Nicole Richie,” says a friend of the singer, who spoke to Life & Style magazine.

^As much as I am a stan of hip hop in general, we need to allow artists to take accountability for their actions regardless of how much we like their music. I don’t care who my favorite artists are at the moment. If they’re in a position of power (such as Jay-Z) to enrich our culture and people then they need to fulfill that void. That goes for any mainstream Black/Latin artist who are under the scope. None of them are perfect by any means (even Huey P. snorted with Richard Pryor), but we allow the idolatry to take its toll without reprecussion. Should WE be the ones scrutinizing? Of course. Many of us are more than just fans, but bred’ren of the same struggle. I’m not sayin’ that Jay hasn’t reached out in the past to help the community. But he (and the rest of ‘em) need to take a stand on some of the bureaucracy that happens within the system towards us. Our Club music scene has influenced parts of the East Coast all the way up to North Jersey (Brick City Club music) due to people like Frank Ski, Scottie B, Rod Lee, and most recently DJ K-Swift. It’s family owned West African spot. The food is pretty good. And on the weekends (Friday or Saturday, can’t remember) the lounge is open and it’s a nice lil’ nightlife spot. People are on some chill shit. It’s like Eden’s but with more space.
I was gonna work there as a bartender some months back. They asked me to come in one night and just peep the scene to see if I’d be comfortable working there. But I was immediately turned off when one of the shorties (a supervisor) asked me if I could wear a tight Black shirt to work for a more “sexy” feel while bartending. Needless to say I turned that gig down.

I’m going on vacation in 3 weeks to turks and caicos. Although I’ll be tempted, I’m not going swimming. Its not even august and I’ve heard too many drowning accident and shit. So I’ll stay on land and leave the sea for the fishes.
