It’s family owned West African spot. The food is pretty good. And on the weekends (Friday or Saturday, can’t remember) the lounge is open and it’s a nice lil’ nightlife spot. People are on some chill shit. It’s like Eden’s but with more space.

I was gonna work there as a bartender some months back. They asked me to come in one night and just peep the scene to see if I’d be comfortable working there. But I was immediately turned off when one of the shorties (a supervisor) asked me if I could wear a tight Black shirt to work for a more “sexy” feel while bartending. Needless to say I turned that gig down.

@ Billz- actually, i used to listen to K-Swift’s show- not regularly, but whenever I came across it on the dial and I liked a song that was playing- Pretty much I alternate between WPGC, WKYS, and WERQ…I’m not a throro go-go fan, either, for what it’s worth- just certain artists and songs, but I do understand it’s importance to the aural landscape of DC, and it’s always been in the background my entire life….
