Radio was being consolidated a long time ago. That’s why you have many popular radio personalities entering markets in many other states like Joyner, Harvey, etc.

Don’t ever expect radio with Clear Channel as the owner to serve local acts or personalities. At this point, I don’t know if it can be stopped but everybody in the industry will simply accept a check and play the game.

Jay is just playing his corporate position. Kids won’t know the difference.

Wow. I guess NY radio is now as dead as ATL radio. Which means that we’re now all even. Which means that now we can enact change. Or we can just keep bitching.

Radio is so so dead. Nobody but teenagers who are too dumb to figure out how to work the internet or an iPod are giving a fuck about FM. Sirius even has it wrong. It’s all about the net.
