Back in my day, if you was in the bing you couldn’t do interviews over the phone for radio or blog. Shit, you got room temperature cheese sammiches, a half a cup of viscous, luke warm ice tea and a moldy orange. Your phone calls are interrupted every 45 seconds by a computerized voice saying the phone call is being recorded and not to talk about any criminal activities AND you ONLY got 20 minutes a day. 15 collect call and a 5 minute free call. The hole meant the HOLE. NO PHONE CALLS, NO YARD TIME, in your cell for 23 1/2 hours a day. We made shanks out of toothbrushes and matches, lit smokes with two wires from the twist ties offa loaves of bread (kitchen connect) and a AA battery, ate “Chi-Chi’s” and hoarded the fruit and bread to make wine.
SMFH at these so-called “inmates”
