Companies like Gucchi, Coach, Louis V, etc are doing well for themselves if they can get a few pieces of leather sown together for a few cents and then put that on retail for (tens of) thousands of dollars or what not. Teen killed as shooting erupts at Miami graduation party
MIAMI – Someone shot up a block party early Sunday morning in a Miami-Dade County neighborhood, injuring five people and killing one, authorities said.
About 200 people were celebrating a recent graduation at Northwest 32nd Avenue and Northwest 48th Terrace when someone started firing an assault weapon, said Detective Nelda Fonticiella, spokeswoman for Miami-Dade Police.
Officers arrived and were approached by a gunshot victim, she said.
Minutes later, officers heard gunshots just north of their location, Fonticiella said.
Paramedics ended up rushing six people to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami.
Frank Crump Jr., 18, died at the scene. Another victim, who police did not immediately identify, remained in critical condition Sunday afternoon.

MIAMI — A container with about 1,700 pounds of marijuana was confiscated from the Port of Miami, U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials said Monday.
Customs officials said the drugs arrived Sunday in a container filled with household items.
The container originated in Aruba and made a stop in Kingston, Jamaica, before arriving in Miami. Customs officials believe the drugs were stored in the container while in Jamaica.
Harold Woodward, director of Customs and Border Protection field operations in Miami, said officers focused on some containers that recently arrived at the port, “did a very in-depth exam and found the narcotics.”
Woodward said customs officials didn’t wait to see who came to claim the drugs because he believes word might have gotten out that the drugs were seized.
Customs officials said the marijuana has a wholesale value of about $1.7 million and a street value of about $3.4 million.
No arrests have been made.
