^I hate New York, seriously, I went up there, I was dying to come back home, the traffic sucks, no hospitality at all, the airs too thick, & people act like it’s a blessing to be from there. That’s why alot of NY niggas get killed coming down here tryna hustle, there too slick for themselfs & end up getting boxed up, but that’s another topic.

I agree. If you flip the rookie card and look at all of the stats, Jays the G.O.A.T. Going just by music Jay is up there but probably not the G.O.A.T., but definitely up there.

RD is timeless, while albums like LAD & illmatic sound dated. That’s the biggest difference in that whole debate.

LAD & illmatic remids you of what you was doing around that time, but don’t relate to your current status, while reasonable doubt puts you in a place where his lyrics relate to current events in your life

I can admit that albums that are considered “great” are not my particular favorite albums, I like the dynasty more than the blueprint….but I know that blueprint is better though…..

I’m a reasonable nigga. And to use your example, I think It Was Written is > but I know that’s not really the case. But that’s not what I’m doing with Life After Death. It really IS better than RD.
