Scarface is a good rapper but he is behind 3000….3 stacks story writing and tie ins are impeccable….I mean you can study his rhymes analytically….At surface level they have a meaning but if you look deeper into his rhymes….you can extract some very valuable insight….
Scarface is more of a Preacher…the way he performs and raps….Not as poeticallly inclined as 3000….and lacked a lil versatilty…But very good rapper indeed.

Okay, well let’s say in recent contemporary times….In like the last 5 or six years…
I remember when He dropped them Joints niggas at xxl dedicated whole posts to em….Other blog sites was talking about those joints he dropped…
You don’t want to admit it but other blog sites and XXL were treating those verses like an event…But even without those recent remix verses…He has dropped some hot material…
If you feel like he is just ok…that’s fine…we all have our likes and dislikes…music is all subjective….But it seems to me like he is railroaded because he has a southern accent and never rapped like he was from new york…Which scarface sounds like he is from the east coast and east coast niggas put scarface on a pedastal (rightfully so)…But they try to always to determine who is the southern goat, because a rapper raps in the eyes of what they like.
