Busta Dropped From Interscope?

ThisisCurtis is “reporting” that Busta was dropped from Interscope Records over the weekend after getting into a brouhaha with the mid-sized Israeli. Apparently, Trevor came out his face sideways and Iovine had to remind him who the white man boss is.
Hey, there’s always KOCH Amalgam Digital.

“His wordplay can be thrilling (“My picture should be in the dictionary next to the definition of definition”), and no other rapper finds as much joy in rhyming; “in the way,” “everyday,” “what we say,” “cliché,” “Andre 3K,” “sensei” is a typical string from Dr. Carter”
wtf can they get someone who actually listens to rap to comment on whos the best rapper, this guy sounds like he never heard a rap song in his life “my god he rhymed everyday with sensei SWEET JESUS LETS EAT COOKIES”
July 7th, 2008 at 12:44 am
yo blaze hellz yea, i was just watching 25th hour again last week, rite now im watchin Apocalypse Now, im only an hour into it and its straight classic
July 7th, 2008 at 12:45 am
50, Jay, Puff and all those other rappers dont run shit in the industry. Their slave masters do. Jimmy Iovine Doug Morris etc. But this could be good for Busta maybe he can explore the idea of being your own boss for a change.

I’m reflecting on all the signs that I got sayin’ that I shouldn’t fuck with you
but the way that you would taste
make you hard to resist
when I put my mouth on you
but that’s another issue…
butterflies up in my stomach
when I laid eyes on you
or was it infection manifesting?
confused over the feeling
impatiently eating you
??? worms chewing on the walls of my intestine
I’ma eat you until there’s nothing left
til my very last breath
you gon be a nigga’s death

What did you guys think of The Happening? I actually didn’t think it was that bad. I mean M.Night himself said it was a B-Movie so I wasn’t really expecting some great dialogue and shit. I liked the message he was trying to send about the environment and how he dumbed it down for the audience.

@ eng, wats good, i just saw there is a movie called Adulthood…is that the sequel to kidulthood or something? if so, im gonna watch it

oh get over it. yeah, Nas’ verse was pretty fucking well thought-out, but Busta didn’t ruin shit. his verse wasn’t wack, that’s the same flow he does on all your favorite songs… and if you can straight up say that’s not how you feel when you first meet a girl… you ain’t even a real person

Ah man, Busta got out of pocket years ago. People liked him cause they thought he was funny. The funny raps and Soundgarden type videos. Somewhere he tried to get gangster wit it. After being robbed 3 times ( according to Hip-Hop Police) he should have fell the fuck back. At this point, the labels are looking to drop dead weight. Busta ran out on the freeway with that. All these 40 year old dudes need to hang it up. East coast niggas is funny…they don’t want to let no one else shine.
July 7th, 2008 at 3:11 am
I chowed down a bacon sandwich for lunch and that shit was scrumptuous. I don’t what the fuck you lot are on about not fuckin with bacon.
What’s a full English without bacon? You lot have lost your taste buds.

Busta Rhymes has been getting a free ride for years now. Almost none of his albums on east/west were profitable because he spent more on ebeats and publicity than they earned, and finally the label got tired of him blaming them for his repeated failures and dropped him…and then he got a better deal at Aftermath?
His main talent is ass-kissing and schmoozing. He’s on everyone’s songs not because the public wants him there, but because he has a relationship with those rappers. Its all networking, no real talent or public demand.
I knew that the Big Bang would flop, and that this day would come. Interscope doesnt carry dead weight.
