Ok ease granted alot of songs on BP2 shouldnt of been on there but the Curse was Blueprint 1 material fam….BP2.1 should of been BP2, also the Black album was immaculate…his prime ended with Black IMO….

That’s only because Jay was such in his prime at that state, that it was acceptable to shit on everything he did no matter how dope it was. Jay’ s prime started with Hard Knock Life and ended with Blueprint, two of the greatest hiphop albums ever.

Vol. 3 was Jay murdering traditional East coast rap (he even does it symbolically on track.12) and introducing the world to Southern Rap (UGK guest appr, later verse on “Ha” remix), Dynasty was a Roc-A-Fella album that they added three tracks to and added Jay’s name on to make it marketable. The bottom line is, in three years, Jay introduced Southern rap to the masses (for better or worse), established Beanie Sigel as the next great and Scarface as an underrated one, and set forth a template to make hiphop albums that cats would follow for the next decade, effectively replacing Life After Death, as the true “blueprint”. Vol 3 is damn near classic and Dynasty is better than it had any right to be. These album’s are bookended by HDK and BP, effectively marking this as Hov’s prime.
