   ^As much as I love it up north, that’s a major downfall for me. It’s nothing wrong with a culturally diverse environment because you get to learn about other cultures. But many times our own children aren’t gettin’ the necessary information that they need to know about our own culture. But the fucked up part is that B’more, as Black as a city it is, has no cultural foundation. You don’t see Nubian culture prevalent anywhere even though we’re populated with over 50+% Blacks. And we’re some poor-ass conservatives who are afraid to branch out and be different until someone from somewhere else says it’s ok. I was just talkin’ with one of my old heads and he was sayin’ how it’s a “strange spirit” here that harbors over the city. Nobody is receptive of anything culturally or intellecutally beneficial to our people. Shits crazy man. All the older homies (from other places) say that this place is “strange.” And I know exactly what they mean.

   ^Pretty much. Smh. I’m supposed to graduate in Dec. and right now my my major concerns isn’t about findin’ a job (because I will hopefully be self-employed), but if whether I’m leavin’ or stayin’. And it’s probably not the latter.

    YouTube users may have lost some of their privacy now that a judge has ordered its parent company Google to surrender every YouTube user’s name, IP address and viewing history to Viacom. The order was issued on Wednesday at Viacom’s request as part of the company’s lawsuit against YouTube for copyright infringement, according to Wired.

    Viacom alleged in its lawsuit that Google is responsible for allowing clips of copyright protected videos on the YouTube Web site. The company is asking for more than US$1 billion in damages.
