Rapper Lil Wayne is the latest celebrity to announce his own booze brand. Lil Wayne is partnering with Milestone Brands and French grower Voirin-Jumel to create Halo Champagne. A bottle of the appeared in the video for his song “Lollipop.” The Halo Champagne will be available in four styles, Brut, Brut Vintage, Rose and Halo Pinnacle and will be out this fall. He joins a long list of actors and musicians with their own wine-related projects.

my theory is that Nas never planned on naming his album “Nigger,” he just said he would as a PR move, then “had to” change the title, then decided he’d remove the “nigger” theme entirely, including the staple “Be a Nigger Too.” People think Nas isn’t business-smart like that, but it’s not like he didn’t know the attention he’d garner naming an album “Hip-Hop is Dead.” I wouldn’t put it past him at all.

I agree that he never intended to name the album that, in fact, I said as much in a post earlier this morning. But I disagree that he discarded the “nigger” theme. Fried Chicken, N.I.G.G.E.R still keep with it. I just think he just thought one more song with the word in its title/hook would be a little redundant even if that is the central theme.

This a really good album mayne
