i’ve never seen a rapper i like who didn’t aspire to be at the top. every rapper i fucks with is trying for that top spot

bleek? never. nothing about bleek equals greatness

because he had a cushy deal from the start, he never gave it his best. he was always mediocre. he always needed the best production - and verses from jay - to even sound halfway decent

he used to get verses on jay’s albums. but it got to a point where jay probably just started saying ‘my album gets worse if i let dude have a verse on my shit so fuck it, he’s out.’

anybody who says “well at least he went gold” — give me a break. that’s when everyone went gold. gold is only an achievement *now.* back then when everybody was going platinum, not so much. and again, he had the whole rocafella and def jam machines behind him and still couldn’t build a fanbase.

so was bleek successful? depends on your definition. i know for a lot of n*ggas, successful = making $100k+ per year. if that’s ur definition (billz, i’m not talking to u specifically) then maybe bleek is ur idol

that’s not my definition by any stretch

p.s. the rap game is not like the finance game. in the world of finance, thousands of cats are multi-millionaires and build names for themselves and are crazy successful

the rap game is like tennis, if you’re not in the top 10 or 20 you’re not making a very big impact

crackhead story # 2

we at my mans house having a few drinks smoking some good greenery and this crack head walks up with a a dvd player… so my homie Fatz says how much you want? the dude says $20… so my man says okay i got 2 nicks.. the dude agrees and gives my man the dvd player and some movies… my man made out … okay it is the middle of fucking july… the crackhead comes back 10-15 mins later with a box ( a big ass box mind you)… the dude says yo you got anymore ready i got these mugs… so we all say at the same time Mugs… this motherfucka opens up the box and its a 36 pack of fucking Christmas mugs… we all laughing right… next thing you know his fucking mother comes out the alley yelling ” where is my god damn mugs henry”

we all are tears laughing… from the higher state we are in…

my man fatz takes the dvd player home and the shit doesn’t work…

i laughed for 2 days off that shit
