Stop Being Rapper Racist

Has anyone told Noel that the Beastie Boys rocked the show 2 years before Oasis did, in 1994? It must not be that kind of hip hop he’s referring to. Hov made some more innocent comments about the whole thing on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross and just mentioned that he doesn’t think that 100,000 tickets in one day is equivalent to poor ticket sales. Although it didn’t seem that he was offended, airing out Oasis on stage was certainly well-warranted, and the show goers definitely deserved it.
But to be fair, from what I’ve heard from Oasis fans that heard what Noel said, he was just trying to be funny and that his sense of humor always gets trampled on by the press… but don’t tell that to eskay.
There are some pics of his performance, his interview with Tim Westwood, as well as DJ Semtex speaking on his some of his lyrics to hold you down for now.

>>he also grew up poor in Manchester during an era of unemployment so I’d say hes experienced poverty and urban decay moreso than most of the suburban white American kids who listen to rap.
^ yeah, well what about all the other people who listen to rap? And so what he grew up poor, that gives him the right to criticize an entire genre because of his own narrow minded opinions of two artists? what if I said all rock stars were heroin addicts who beat their wives? fuck all of ya’ll. if he wants to have an intelligent dialogue about the conditons that created and continue to spawn violent music then fine, but when he talks out his ass, as he did in this situation, I’m gonna go on the internet and write dickhead on a picture of his brother and say Fuck Him! Why? Because I eat, sleep, and breath hip hop and I’m gonna stand up when somebody talks shit about it. The same way you idiots come in here calling me a “wanker” cuz I dissed him. You understand? I hope so, because if I have to send my site’s regulars into this thread to deal with yall, it’s gonna be a problem.

Maybe Noel can do summer jam next year, and see how much Jay Z welcomes it. Noel said nothing racist, he simply doesn’t have an ear for rap. To try and slate noel as a musician is ridiculous.
