I’m not knocking Jay’s live performance skills at all (I’ve seen the dude live like 5-6 times) but it doesnt hurt to have the best catalogue in hiphop at your disposal. He could be a shitty performer and his show still wouldnt be half bad.

Meth is one of my favorite emcees, he brings a LOT of energy but something about his live show has always been off to me. His vocals have sounded bad everytime I’ve seen him.
First times I saw KRS and Rakim, those dudes brought crazy energy and spit every line flawlessly. Haven’t seen Jay live in person since Hard Knock Life Tour…(goddamn that’s a long time ago), and Busta and Nas are almost the only two big acts I haven’t seen live…I heard they both have live shows.
And Undrcrwn has the illest shirts in the game…word to my green Slick Rick tee

It’s like Muddy may have better individual tracks but the sequencing of Dare is a Darkside raises it up. Just constant bombardment of murky beats and (I think) Red’s best lyrical performances.
