The whole album wasn’t about coke, & it was a concept album (imo) majority of the album was based around the movie, matter of fact, every song prolly except “I know” & “Ignorant shit” was based on the movie. Yeah it was a reason for him to talk about coke, but the concept spawned around the movie, making it a concept album

just because it bore the name of the movie, had 3 or 4 sound bites from the movie and came out around the time of the movie does NOT make it a concept album. A concept would have been rapping the entire album from the perspective of a character in the movie, making references to other people and places in the movie.

Stillmatic isnt a classic, but it’s 4.7 out of 5. Any album with “braveheart party” on it can’t be a classic, the song smoking is wack juice too, but the good songs on stillmatic is so good it make most call it a classic.
