    ^haha i totally knew this question is coming…all i can say is i think people are born naturally good and the majority of people are decent but we are ruled by the corrupt…so back to ur question, i think most people would think its wrong to kill but for the man who thinks it right, i dont have an answer…that statement i made was “in general”

    ^the gist of the question was basically the sun is one of many stars so how could that be worshipped more than any other. how could you deeming all the other trillions of stars irrelevant be scientific? the earth revolves around the sun but the sun is revolving around a greater star cluster, Sirius A, B, C. So how could the sun be the Most High?

    i love this statement mainly because it shows why religion is the biggest trick played on man kind, on top of that it hsows why it only further more holds humanity down from expanding itself to being the great species it can actually, be… until we stop looking to something greater as the reason we are so good, and start believing in humanity itself, we will always be a second best… i refuse to take such standard, and hope one day humans will see how great they are without some false belief in something that is yet to prove itself existant

    ^i can definitely respect ur opinion and can see where u are coming from, but for example, with christianity islam or judaism which are pretty similar, the basic message is of good and if people practiced it the way they were supposed to i.e. no corrupt leaders killing/profiting in the name of religion, we would live in a great place…i agree that thinking u are better than another person just based on what faith u belong to is wrong whcih goes back to my statement of just being a good person and doing what u think is right not necessarily what religion tells u to do

    ^^Sorta kills the “be a good person part,” since the basics of that is to not harm another person. So do your thang, unless your thang is beating and raping people. If it is, stop doing that.

    i only say that because i took an Ethics class, and trust me, i thought humanity was good, but more people are prone to do “morally” wrong things whenever they can…

    and Odemic, yo usaw what is law and moral… moral is something formed by a society, our morals are different form that of the middle east, so morals is inediquate in this topic, and law is constantly broken, if you smoke weed you’re breaking the law, if you J walk, breaking the law, not filing taxes, breaking the law… so your law theory holds strength but not enough to stop someone who thinks they are doing right

    ^First your statement doesn’t refute the statement. Second, Rastas are opressing no one. The principle overstanding of Rasta is ONENESS. So there is no separateness. Rastas believe in vegetarian living in one with nature. Who has Rasta dominated? All Rasta demands is freedom for every living being. So where is the contradiction?

    i’m sure you read the bible or at least have a strong general knowledge of it, the 3 prime religions on earth are as you said christianity, judaism & islam, in the bible there’s the story of the tower of babble, and how humanity as a whole wanted to build a structure so tall it would reach the heavens and they could all find their way to god… and what does god do, god creates languages in a ditch effort to confuse everyone and seperate them into groups so they wouldn’t be able to communicate as a whole and finish their goal… because of this confusion chaos insues…

    my point in putting that out there is this, even in the bible if you’re a believer, GOD itself (i say it, because who knows what god is, have yo uever seen it?) feared the ability humanity had and found a way to push us down… now i don’t know about you, but a god who fears lesser beings, doesn’t make sense to me, humanity above all

    so is it important that they think it is “right” or that it pleases them and servers their purpose.

    Cause if you’re talking right and wrong, then what is the defining criteria for “right” or “wrong”?
