You know the whole Jay Z thing might not be solely about race. Its more about rap music and the misconceptions these people have about it. The majority of white people that are into rock/metal music are very opposed to rap music. They generalize and make ignorant blanket statements about the whole genre. Basically these dudes go off what they’ve heard from 50 cent and seen on youtube. I mean rap/metal conservative fans are close minded to hip hop music and they love to put it down. Whether their dislike and hate for hip hop has some subtile racism behind it, I say with some people it does, but for the most part fans of those genres don’t cross into other music much so they have strong opinions about shit like this.

I don’t think so man…last year they had ZERO hip-hop acts, I just checked the line-up…The Killers were the big act. You can’t go from zero hip-hop acts at all to a hip-hop headliner without people bitching. But when it comes to festivals, people bitch about the line-up regardless. Before I answer, let me just correct suttin. Rastas dont recognise “Jesus Christ” because they believe its a image used to enslave the masses…

They DO believe that Yeshua walked the Earth. You’ll probably find Rastas are very well versed in the Old Testament of the Bible (or The Torah), & apocrypha (sp?) books
