Jacob The Jeweler Gets 2 1/2 Years in the Pen

I forgot all about this guy’s case.
Says TMZ:
Can you ice out a prison cell? Hip-hop bling king Jacob the Jeweler has just been sentenced to two and a half years in the federal pen for lying to investigators looking into a multi-state drug ring.
43-year-old Jacob Arabov copped a plea last October to doctoring records and lying to the Feds.

***Yep…money laundering can be a lucrative business- I was just watching Cocaine Cowboys the other night, where they were saying that back in the 80s, Miami had more banks per capita than anywhere else..these days, money laundering can be high risk, but look at the potential payoff, both financially and networking/protection wise—because you know that a jeweler of Jacob’s caliber has to have somebody in his corner, to keep the wolves away….
