Actually the biggest rapper (scratch that) ARTIST in the world right now is Wayne himself. Sorry haters.
I know in Hip Hop its considered taboo by many to validate sales as a means to whose bigger and better, but somewhere along the lines of ‘Pac gloatin about going “quadruple/quadropple platinum”, Jay sayin “only dudes movin units Em, Pimp Juice and Us, and 50’s “I create material that connects with the most people in the world” (or somethin like that). Sales has become a direct indication for who’s the biggest artist.

Sorry I had to go there but its time to give Weezy the respect that you gave Jay or any iconic MC that took and carried the torch. Haters can no longer hide behind the theory that Waynes just a mixtape rapper who cant make a “classic” album. Sidenote: the actual term “classic” is so fuckin relative its sickening. You can only call somethin a classic if you actually like the shit. Not everybody liked Reasonable Doubt back in 96. It went over alot of peoples heads at the time (outside of NY anyway). The fact of the matter is that Reasonable Doubt and Illmatic and Cuban Linx are bonafied classics, but not too many niggas outside of the boroughs was going crazy for them shits. Does it give those the right to say it isnt a classic? Hell no, because they just werent into it at the time, point blank, those who were deep into those artist could only truly say those were classic albums, others just quietly agreed not wanting to go against the grain and cause conflict.
So with all that being said, its time for cats to finally get off the hate-wagon. Jays not the biggest, Kanyes not the biggest, not Coldplay, not Mariah, not High School Musical, not Hannah Montana. Waynes the biggest thing in the world right now in enterntainment. Bigger than Lebron, bigger than ______
