I think so…This mixtapes pretty crazy…You’d be missing out if you never heard it IMO

But then again Max is an aquired…listen. But you can definently sing along to every song…& the beats are banging

… he is an eyesore … he doesnt have a voice that sets him above and apart … he has ZERO charisma … he has ZERO style/swagger … his stage presence is minimal … his rhymes seem well crafted and thought out, but i cant recall any stand out quotables from him … his flow and delivery is dated … he’s the frontman for a band, but ?uestlove gets all the attention … an ashy, intellectual drummer (great drummer though) … they should have groomed Jill Scott to be their lead singer and permanent group member … they wouldnt be having these problems …

BT is in my Top 10…but yeah he’s realllllll chill, to laid back…not enough charisma and style…at least not enough in this day and age where style/swagger means more than lyrics/flow. They just didnt adapt to the ever changing sate of Hip Hop/Rap.

only thing i disagree with is if they pulled jill in, i think she would have pulled a fergie/songstress (whatever that chick name is from floetry) on that ass. the roots seem to just sit in that back-up band role, generally speaking…
